Kiwa Pools is Gisborne’s new indoor swimming pool facility which is home to a dedicated learning to swim area, a 50m swimming pool and a hydrotherapy pool. Kiwa Pools has been built for the whole Gisborne community to enjoy and has replaced the original Gisborne swimming facility that was built in 1974.
Kiwa Pools was completed in August 2023. A pre-dawn blessing and karakia whakawātea was held to commemorate the opening.
