Hamilton Peacockes Bridge

The Waikato River Bridge is a key part of the broader transport network planned for the Peacocke neighbourhood. This 110-meter span bridge features four lanes, including dedicated bus lanes, as well as separate pedestrian and bike paths. Notably, it will be the only traffic bridge in Hamilton without central support structures in the Waikato River, a crucial design element for the iwi partners. The Waikato River Bridge is the first new bridge in Hamilton since the completion of the Pukete Bridge in 1996. Axell provides EtC services and Dave Proctor chairs the Project Management Board.
